About me

Hello!

I’m Suzanne and I’m a writer who loves to travel and explore. On a typical weekend, you can find me at a farmer’s market or curled up in a blanket reading or at my computer working on a story or in my kitchen making a fantastic mess that is usually edible.

If you’ve come to this blog looking for ideas about where to travel and what do when you get there - I’ve got you covered. But if you’re looking for the best beach holiday, this isn’t the place. Sure, I love a good splash in the ocean, but my husband and I enjoy looking at old stuff and walking a million miles a day on cobblestone streets.

When we travel, we move. We’re always on the go. It’s because we both work full time and we’re trying to fit as much as we can in a two- or three-week stretch.

This also means I’m a crazy travel planner - flights, hotels, any big ticket items are typically booked in advance. The more I know going into a trip, the less time we waste trying to figure things out. So I hope the itineraries and information I share will help you make the most out of your precious travel days too!

I’m also curious about wellness, music, food, art, yoga and many other things, so I’ve added in a lifestyle section to share some thoughts and findings.

writer

I write fiction stories - some short, some long - for adults that explore connection, boundaries and vulnerability. I dig into the spaces where our humanity often shines the brightest (or darkest).

I’ll link to stories and books (manifest, oh universe) as they are published.
